Thread: Some new projects

    Default Some new projects

Just came out of my cave again. Thought I'd share a few projects and a video/sound byte by Alex Heflin of my/his K model. The pickup is an Almuse humbucker. I can't say enough about the sound quality of the pickup. I buy these through his US dealer moongazermusic.com. Just trying to spread the love and get everyone mentioned since emandos aren't near as mainstream as their acoustic cousins. Well, back to the cave.

Lovely work, Andrew - and great to hear such glowing reviews of the Almuse humbucker. I have two of them here for my current emando projects, and need to order one more. Was going to wait and give one a listen before ordering more, but listening to this clip is really encouraging.
All my life I wanted to be somebody, now I realize I should have been more specific.

That will be for sale at a dealer's website once he decides on whether it is going to be a four or eight string. The back is curly birch. Another builder gave me this wood because of the defects. I wasn't trashing it for a couple wayward knots.
