I've got a solid body Kentucky mando, and it has a horrible buzz if I turn the trebble up too high (especially if I use distortion). #Is there any way to fix this? #Perhaps a new pickup? #I've been thinking of trying a new pick up anyways, and I was wondering how hard that would be to put a new one on (I've never done anything like that before).

Oh, and I've tried out various amps for it, and though some give better results than others, that annoying buzzing sound never completely goes away if treble is turned to high.

Sounds like you might have a ground fault. Check out the ground wire connection to the output jack & the back of the pots. You may also try shielding the control cavity with graphite paint or foil.
Putting a new pickup in is not that hard if you have done any soldering. If not practice a bit first & rember to turn the pots all the way down when you solder to the back of them.
