    I am about to own a five string. Does anybody know where to get chords Tabs or scales

    This comes up from time to time... I think you'll find that it's not too tough to figure out how to expand your regular four string chords to include the fifth string. For me the tougher part was the transposition (remembering that very familiar chords are now in very different locations, relative to my lowest string.) Good luck!

    As an open string creature of habit , the transposing is the challenge , owning mandolin, a mandola, a mandola tuned 4 string and the pentaula, mean wall charts got made.
    CGDAE is a tasty blend of tenor banjo and mandolin chord diagrams.
    highlight the root [1] of the chord in the pattern.
