This has probably been asked a dozen times, but does anybody sell sets of strings for the mandobird. #I just got my new "bird", and want to know what's available.

Ted's put together a really nice feeling, and playing set of strings for this instrument. Plus, a little extra Chrome goes well on the mandobird. Now if I could only figure out how to get some chase lights running on the fretboard ...
Mandola fever is permanent.
I found a more economical solution performing with a suspended "Disco Ball."Originally Posted by (Dolamon @ April 06 2004, 06:02)
Inevitably, when I introduce myself as playing with "Disco Balls" though, some wisecracker responds, "You know a shot of penicillin will clear that right up."
Thanks folks, that is just what I am looking for.
I assume those strings will work for other electric 4 stringers. Is that so? I have a Blue Star Mandoblaster. Will they work on it?

You bet. As long as the Blue Star uses ball end strings (not loop). The only difference is these will be flatwound instead of roundwound.
Then I just bought a pair. Thanks!
