I'd have to guess around $1200. without that screw in the back. What is it doing?

A4- I think not. Maybe an A1.
Sound hold trim is wrong for an A4
disclaimer- I am not an expert by any means (but I do have an A4 paddle head from 1917 or so)

An A-4 would have a Fleur-De-lis, Handel tuners, and wine red color and different rosette around sound hole.

I paid a lot more for an A-1 than the prices quoted here. But it had a very special sound. I paid for the sound.
