    hey y'all,
as i am waiting for the arival of my Ryder Em-45 (around 2 weeks more to wait), i started a little list of popular guitar rock songs that are in the range of 5 string emandos.

The Guess Who - American Woman (lead guitar. tune down a semi-tone for ease of playing)

April Wine - Could of Been A Lady (the lead guitar)

Roling Stones(?) - Brown Eyed Girl (Lead Guitar)

Velvet Revolver - Fall to Pieces (lead guitar)

Nektar - "Countenance" from the album: "Journey To The Center Of The Eye" (lead guitar. awesome trippy instrumental piece)

Pain of Salvation - Chain Sling (Lead guitar)

The Beatles - Get Back ( Lead guitar)

The Flower Kings - Big Puzzle (lead guitar. awesome, jazzy, groovy, 13.5 minute epic song. Their are many catchy guitar licks in that song that could be played alone for the fun and beauty)

AC-DC - Thunderstruct (The lead guitar - the famous guitar that begins the song.)

    Guns N'Roses - Sweet Child O'Mine (lead guitar. Tune down a semi-tone)

    ...to be continued...

help me continue this list guys!
dad tell me, will i be dead very long?

great list. I play a lot of Grateful Dead tunes and my Mann 5 stringer works great.

Ack! That be Van Morrison, or my name's not Barnacle Billy.

The 5-string emando actually has more range than a guitar ... Any guitar lead that doesn't go below the 3rd fret on the A string is fair game, which probably includes most guitar leads. If it does go that low, you can just kick the whole thing up an octave.
