AFAIK Craig's List, unlike eBay, doesn't have a global search function; you can search only one city at a time. But maybe they like it that way.

Anywho, let's start a thread for emando sales on Craig's List.

Here is a sunburst Kent 744 in Seattle. Too expensive, and hmmm... that photo sure looks familiar.

That particular model is actually a pretty decent instrument. I use to have one. It has a solid spruce top. I don't know about the back and siudes.

I want a solid body E-mando, otherwise I'd bid on this one myself.

Seller says he bought it in Santa Fe 20 years ago but can't recall the builder's name.

It WOULD be Santa Fe. Is that a walnut body?

It is not an electric, but those must be some exceptional strawberries...

No, I'm not gonna delete my post. The person in Boston with the Vega electric still has it AFAIK, and has posted it several times. If you see a post in this thread that's more than a week old, don't click on the link.

Same applies to the older posts in the eBay thread. We're better off adding photos to these posts -- as attachments, not links -- and putting in more information.

I do check Craig's List in other cities. Sometimes I find people who are willing to ship out of town, and sometimes I find people who are downright scary paranoid. The Craig's List posting guidelines don't help ... they imply that only a scammer would ask for a long-distance transaction. Of course eBay owns a large chunk of Craig's List now ... I guess they're trying to position Craig's List as a safe haven for people who've been screwed over in eBay transactions once too often.

Here is a Greg Biller emando in Fort Collins. (Mandroid plays a Biller, so I thought he'd be interested.)

Man! I've wanted one of those for years. I used to know a guy in Eugene, OR that had one with a Bigsby on the guitar side. It was really fun to play.
