    Default P.H Kirk Mandolin

Hi all, I’m a newbie here and I recently got a P.H Kirk mandolin as a challenge to repair. Unfortunately it’s way out of my league, and none of my local techs will touch it. The top has separated and bowed and the sides have bowed out, separating one of the top braces. Is there any way to get in touch with Mr. Kirk or someone who could fix this? Thanks for the help!

There is some reference information in this thread. I'm not familiar with the builder but I see several Phil Kirk's listed in Virginia. At least one person in the thread I linked to appeared to know the man.

Phil and Pattie have moved back to Vermont. I'll try and get in touch with them and have Phil check out this thread.
