Default Our thoughts should be with John Baxter

Received an email from John Baxter just now who has announced on his Facebook page (not sure if his Facebook settings are public) that he has been receiving treatment for Stage 4 colon cancer for over a year now. He said it's now public and while I haven't responded back yet or had dialogue with him it's clear it's easier for him to receive the thoughts and wishes from others with this being public.

There are some among you who may not know John but he has been the long-time owner and administrator of Mandozine, one of the internet's premier spots for mandolin information and has always been a friend of the Cafe and the entire music community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with John.

I'm very sad to hear this. My prayers and best wishes are with you, John, his family and friends.
