Gibson advertises tours of its Beale St. facility in Memphis, where electric guitars are made, and in Bozeman MT, where they make acoustic guitars.
If they're still making mandolins in Nashville (?), no mention of tours there.
Couple posts on a gear site:
My understanding is that they don't give tours of the Nashville shop to regular people. As mentioned above, they used to allow tours of the Bluegrass shop when the Opry Mills store was open, but after the flood they decided not to re-open that store. Even before the flood they were slowly ramping that store down, so it wasn't surprising that they didn't re-open it.
Nope. Nashville won't let you in the door. I tried 10 years ago when I was in Nashville they told me they don't give open tours to the public.
Gibson used to have a "showcase" at Opry Mills, where you could see mandolins being made, but that closed after the flood.

I toured the Parsons Street location way back when! Not a shadow of a Mandolin being built! That was maybe 1976(?)
