I've not seen that T logo or whatever it is, before on a headstock. You could always send them a message via their FB Page

Not to digress too much, but one thing that drives me nuts is two guitarists both playing cowboy chords.. come on guys, vary things up a little... ok, rant over...

Speaking of something driving you nuts, I almost got nauseous from the handheld camera.

Thanks, Jamie...I'm actually wondering now after looking again if it's the Epiphone logo?

Two guitarists and one mandolin player playing cowboy chords. And the one mandolin break is smothered by the wall of guitar sound. Oh well.

I wonder why the OP wants to know what the mandolin is. It certainly sounded fine. I guess he is just a fan of the band?

Whatever it is, it has a pressed top. The scroll is flat, not carved, and the arch is pretty round-looking (freeze frame at 1:05)

I've seen this logo before, but not on a mandolin. See this link - it's the same logo on a Takamine guitar: https://www.elderly.com/takamine-tf3...-herringbo.htm

I did some digging on the interwebs but couldn't find a mandolin with that logo...maybe it was a custom build and they just used the same / similar logo?

    Hope this helps.

Adding it’s extremely bright sounding.. no body to the notes.

I hunted around on their social media pages to see if there were clearer pictures of the mandolin and I couldn't find hide nor hair of it, must have been a one off affair.

That headstock logo dos look like that brand on some of their instruments but I could only find one F-model with a rather poor looking open scroll. Maybe they used different suppliers at different times.

OTOH it is strange that a band from Texas would buy a UK brand of mandolin.

Here is a clearer image of the mandolin player from a different video.

I don't think it sounds toppy/tinny at all. It sounds like a mandolin to me. Tanglewood used to have the abbreviated scroll like the old Gibson 1970s but they must have stepped up a little.

Pressed top or not, it does all it needs to do here, short of a full solo.
