Default Non-Mandolin Content: New Romero Banjo

    Hi All:

I don't belong to any banjo forums and felt like I needed to share this incredible instrument with like minded people. Several years ago I was able to get on Jason Romero's wait list and anticipated ordering one of his "banjolins". Fast forward a few years, the Romero's experienced a terrible shop fire that destroyed their entire operation. With the help of an amazing music (and local) community, they rebuilt and are up and running better than ever. Jason has not been able to re-tool yet for making banjolins, so we decided to proceed with an open back 5-string.

Jason and Pharis are amazing performers, craftspeople and artists. I could not be possibly happier with the experience and the outcome. I'm not worthy (musically) of such a fine banjo, but I'll improve and it's a heck of a lot better than hanging a painting on a wall (at least for me).

Without pictures, it didn't happen... http://www.romerobanjos.com/18432

    Thanks, Chris

Congratulations on owning another Romero work of art, that no doubt sounds as good as it looks.

Wow! That is one stunning banjo. You are certainly worthy of it, no matter what kind of banjo player you are. Owning something like that will get you behind the instrument. Post a video sometime. I'd love to see and hear you playing it.

    Beautiful banjo.
I'm a big fan of his banjos. Glad to see they're back on their feet.
