Default Kansas City Mandolin Orchestra Looking For Members!!!

The Mandolin Orchestra of Kansas City (MOOKC) is starting it's second season! Come be a part of us!

Ability to read notation is a plus, but we can work with you to learn your part. We need Mandolin, Mandola, Mandocello, Mando Bass or Bass, and Guitar players.

We meet on Tuesday nights in mid-town from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We play a mix of classical, ragtime, and contemporary pieces. This year we're working up a set of Leo Kottke pieces arranged by our conductor, Phil DeWalt.

PM me for more information, or check out our site at:

New and much better rehearsal space: Starting with our rehearsal on Tuesday, September 25th our rehearsal location is moving to the Center for Spiritual Living, 1014 W 39th St, Kansas City, MO 64111. Just a few blocks East of where we have been rehearsing.

It's not too late to join!
