Default Complete Mandolinist and other books

Does anyone know anything about the Complete Mandolinist by Marilynn Mair? Is this a good book and is it suitable for beginners?

I have also found the Dummies books and
Theory and Improvisation for the Modern Mandolinist, Volume 1 by Morris. I do not know if any of these books are suitable for a beginner like me. I am interested in learning to play but also theory.

All of these books are good. Don Julin's books are excellent and have great audio files that accompany them. The book by Tommy Norris may not be suitable for an absolute beginner -- but it is worth having. Great intro to theory in my opinion and the audio tracks are also great for playing along with. The Mair book is also good -- but not for the absolute beginner (except maybe the first few pages -- it accelerates pretty rapidly). Lots of material though and definitely aimed at classical mandolin.
