From the playing of my friend, and mentor, Eddy Davis. Eddy plays banjo with his thumb a lot, and I played this version with thumb only, mostly downstrokes.

If you look on the menu, towards the upper right, you will see his book, (The theory behind chord symbols). It's a great book Eddy wrote years ago for tenor banjo/ tenor guitar.

Eddy plays tenor guitar as well as banjo of course. He recently did an awesome workshop with my old Gretsch tg in Buffalo NY. The man is a treasure. Check out all his material if you get a chance.
