    The guy listed as the mandolin player for the album that song is on is Pat McLaughlin. The gentleman in that video is not Mike Marshall, but I can't say for certain that it is Pat McLaughlin.

    Thanks, I thought he was a DGQ member at that point, but it kind of looked like him other than the mandolin. That outfit was something else!

    I loved this group. O'Connor always wore some wild hats. They had a reunion at some point recently with Wyatt Rice on guitar.

    My apologies, I thought the ACL video above was the video in question. MM didn't ever play with good ol' Don Williams as far as I know and that does not resemble him or his playing ...sorry for the corn-fusion #doh/facepalm
