Default Columbus Ohio -- setup, shop, recommendations

I have a Pac Rim mandolin that has been on loan to one niece and is now at another. I have not seen it in a while, and am thinking about having her bring it to someone to check setup, etc.

    Suggestions appreciated.

    THanks,

    Dave

The Bluegrass Store on South High. He値l do setup with new strings for about $60. Plus he痴 a player, so he knows how they really ought to be.

How's the Bluegrass Store's selection of instruments? I'm going to be in Columbus later this year for work, and am curious about good shops to check out. (Sorry for tagging onto the OP's original post.)

They致e got some. I was there about 3 weeks ago. About 8 or 9 mandos, mostly if not all used. Also guitars and ukes, harmonicas, etc.

I bought a very clean Kentucky KM-254 for my gal from them.

Saturdays they have an awesome bluegrass jam in the basement.

Good to know. I live about 2 1/2 hours NE of Columbus, but my sister lives in Columbus, so on one of my visits to her I may have to make a side trip!
