    does anyone have a rough idea of the value of a 1922 gibson mandocello.

    I did but im asking again. I've gotten ranges from low to high and not seen too many for sale to compare it to. I also got estimate of approximately 4-600 to make it right.

    The following established vintage instrument dealers will give you an accurate appraisal: Elderly Instruments, Carter Vintage, Gryphon, etc.

    I will not comment further.

    a little shrinkage because was stored in too dry place some little things I guess. I am having it looked at for concrete cost of repair. It looks in great shape to me but i really don't know anything about them.

    Jim, where abouts do you live? We might be able to recommend a luthier that could do the work. The other side would be to take it to one of the shops listed above and have them tell you how much they can get for it.

    Thank you. I live in Ohio but the instrument is in Nashville with my daughter and son inlaw
