    Oh wow. I think if I acquired something like that I might not leave the house for a few months. People would start to call just to see if i was ok.

    Who is the maker/manufacturer. I agree with Mike that it looks German.

    The maker is Adolf Meinel it is German for sure.
    I have no clue of the year so it should be fun to do more research on it. What sold me on it was the back. Flamed to death

    As for next weeks gets. Not sure yet.

    Ho hum. Another 12 string guitar.

    Really -- it looks nice. I am curious how it would be tuned. I presume the six strings over the fretboard are tuned like a normal guitar, but the other six ... ? Diatonic? Fourths? Open chord?
