Default Looking for Chris Thile's Leading Off music book

I hope I'm posting this in the right section. If it's not, please feel free to move it.

Does anyone know where to find or have a copy of Chris Thile's Leading off?
Not looking for the disc, hoping to find the book of sheet music (which is out of print).

    Thanks in advance!

There have been similar requests over the years within this space. Curious myself, more about why it was no longer available and had been like that for some time, I emailed my contact at Mel Bay and received this response:

I don’t know why, but we (Mel Bay) reassigned the rights to that book in 2003. I wasn’t in the position to be involved in that part of the business at that time, but that is what our notes say on that title. We have had a few requests for it over the years too. Not many, but some. Chris Thile’s management company may know more.

The best bet then is to put a Want ad in the Classifieds for one. Almost certain that'd scare up one that someone has sitting around.

I'd speculate someone in Chris' management orbit decided they no longer wanted that in circulation and found a way to make it happen. Nickel Creek at the time had cult status (that's a compliment) outside the normal acoustic music community so something as trivial as a book of transcriptions was fair game for being controlled by the people making the real money--the management group, not the musicians themselves.

Sorry, don’t have a copy of that one. Agree with posting a want add in the classifieds and scouring eBay, Reverb, and Amazon. Good luck!
