It looked like a Hawksbill shell but I'm no expert. You'd also never get that across any International border and it may have been removed (it doesn't say it sold) because someone told the owner what they had and that there were some serious consequences to owning or shipping it. I seriously doubt they could document it as being pre-CITES.


And I see the actual location is Westfield, MA.

Well, they might want to make sure they sell it to someone instate as well as there are also limitations to Interstate traffic of items made from endangered species. I'm not sure if loading that on an ICC regulated carrier like UPS would constitute putting it into Interstate Commerce (I'm not a lawyer) even to ship it across town. They are on a slippery slope.
