My KM270 came used but with the same squawks I've seen on new lower-end Kentucky mandos so I suspect a setup was never done.

Expect to have to fit the bridge to the top (& having a radius added to the saddle to match the fretboard is a bonus), the frets will likely need some attention, and the truss rod adjusted for proper relief. Pretty simple stuff and it's a great instrument for the price.
