Default Bobelock Arrow Case and Tone Guard?

Hello everyone! couple of questions about this case, well three actually!
can you close the case with a tone guard installed?
Is it possible to hook up a pair of Back Pack straps to the case...I see one attachment
option at the top on the back ??
Where online can you get these? After an hour search the options seem a little sketchy and Amazon does not carry them. Hesitant to order online, pay and then find it is on back order for a year. Yes I am spoiled with Amazon!
    thanks for reading..Heymate aka richard

I'm looking at one of my Arrow cases now...
There is a single ring on the back of the case near the end so that backpack straps of some sort can apparently be attached. The case cover has the same ring. I don't have a tonegard to check that, but it looks to me like there is plenty of room in there for a tonegard. The case comes with a shoulder strap, but I guess you're on your own finding backpack straps to clip into the single ring.

I have used an Arrow case with my Brentrup and the toneguard on for years.
Both the case and the case cover have 3 rings, 1 at the top, 2 at the bottom, so you can hook in straps and carry the mandolin like a backpack. Have used it at festivals like this and on my bicycle.

Contact Vernie at Bluegrassmandolins. He carries the Bobelock mandolin cases. He is a great guy to deal with, and can answer your questions. His prices are hard to beat also. His site is bluegrassmandolins.net. No financial interest.

Bobelock sells padded backpack straps designed for their cases, so why don't you just get a set of those? They are available from many outlets. Here's a link to them on eBay, for instance: click here. (NFI, and there are many other links for these.)
