I know that it is a 2 channel mixer and you can blend a pickup and a mic to send one blended signal to the board, but can you plug 2 separate instruments into each channel and send that to the board? Can it be sent as two separate channels on the board? Also, does it have phantom power? I will be plugging an audio technica clip on mic from the mandolin, and a K&K from the guitar.

It has 2 separate DI out, 1 and 2. Each has a switch so it could be set to mix but otherwise correspond to inputs 1 and 2. The XLR input has available 48V phantom power. 12v mic input power is available on Ch1 and Ch2 1/4" inputs, and it has some internal things you can move around to match the TRS wiring pattern on your source.
