I like
C-E7-Am-C7 F-A7-Dm-D#dim C-(Em-Ebm)Dm-G7 1 C-C#dim-Dm-G+ 2 C-F7-C (Gm7-C7)
bridge F6-F#dim C6-C7 F6-F#dim Em-Ebm-Dm-G7 then repeat the A section using the second ending
the C chords I would voice as C6, either 2-5-3 or 9-7-10. E7 7-6-7 Am 2-2-3-5 or Am7-2-2-3-3 C7 3-2-3 or C9 3-2-5
F 5-7-8 A7 6-5-7 Dm 2-3-5 D# dim 5-4-6-5 minor walkdowns E 4-5-7 Eb 3-4-6 G7 4-3-5 or G+ 4-3-6
C# dim 3-2-4-3 Gm7 12-10-12 C7 11-10-12
F6 7-10-8 F#dim 8-7-9-8
Happy chording. A bebop tune "Tiny Capers" has similar changes, Clifford Brown's version is beautiful.
original Little Rock Getaway by pianist Joe Sullivan (?)--one of those tunes that everybody played--the jazzers, the grassers...
Jethro played and taught it
quite a challenge to improvise on these changes since they move along fairly quickly
really fun to play rhythm on since the changes move along fairly quickly
Thanks Donnie! The walkdowns are way cool. I got the chords from Mike O'Connell, who I'm sure got them from Jethro.
