i just found out there's an ITM session in Amherst at a bar with an Irish name (the harp?) and there's an old time (or was) session on campus at UMass in one of the science buildings -- although that may have been just for staff. but the ITM session is real. my cousin, who lives in Amherst, plays classical guitar -- i can ask her if there's any kind of group thing she's involved in. Session.org lists the Harp as the bar, you might be able to find out times and dates on their website. Plus check out the 'setting up a jam in granby' string in this same thread.
