    Default Joe Foley Tailpieces

    Could anybody tell me the type of metal Joe Foley uses for his bouzouki tailpieces? A friend has a zouk and the tailpiece is quite tarnished. It looks like brass but I'm not sure. I was wondering what the best metal polish would be to shine it up.

    Not familiar with Joe Foley stuff, but if it is brass - try some Brasso, Flitz, or Simichrome. Also, plain old toothpaste and a soft cloth will work in a pinch.
