    Default Opus

Still on my workbench and taking shape, Opus, is an acoustic + electric standard scale mandolin.
I mainly make guitars but I am rather keen on mandolins.

4 strings? The scooped part where the thigh goes (I assume) is looking good. How do you reach inside to place the electronics?

Have not made this one before, made a similar design as an archtop guitar.

It has a leg cutaway which is both functional and aesthetic. As you can see here …. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ha9aGJGdVbU
