Default Newbie joining the ranks - Eastman MD315

Well, after a long while of lurking I decided to call up the folks at Gryphon Strings and purchase this beauty. It looks like I will be able to start actively participating in the discussions around here. I'll try not to bring down the collective IQ too much but no promises.

I've got myself a metronome, a few good albums, Jack Tottle's Bluegrass Mandolin book and Mike Marshall's Fundamentals DVD, oh and while I before the credit card completely melted I order one Blue Chip CT55 pick. I also have a copy of Rob Meldrum's setup book in case I need to do any adjustments. I suppose I don't have any more excuses now. Time to get to work.

That Mando looks great! And anything with Dawg playing is more than a good start. Just in case you missed all the publicity on the homepage, the song a week social group is a great resource. Half the tunes I know are because of that group... Welcome!
