Thread: Piece in lute style

    Default Piece in lute style

    for the mandolin.

I play this on a Brescian "Cremonese" mandolin, made by Albert & Müller in 2008, that I have tuned down to approximatly E for a bit richer sound. Of course I could have used lower tension strings and kept the g-tuning, but I liked it this way.

As primary a lute composer, I only compose in tab, so I hope that will do. The tab is on the video, free for all to use. The piece is one of five I've composed in this style the last weeks.

Far from perfect, I hope the recording will do as an illustration.
