    I agree with you. happy birthday Jesse. a few years back I had my picture taken with him at wind gap & he autographed a mandolin for me, a real nice guy.

    I figured that Tim, He is one of my mandolin idols, he showed me the trick in cross picking which I cannot do any more, not like I used to anyway...His grandson does it better or at least as well as Jesse did it...

    my God 89 years old. I hope he is sitting back, picking a little mandolin & enjoying his life now. very sorry to read on his web site he is not doing all right I will have to pray he gets better soon.
