    Default Shady Grove - mandolin on top of mandolin, and vocals

    This was the Newbies tune of the Month, June 2018 ... and it was the Song of the Week in SAW social group from week 26, 2009.

    I sort of followed Doc Watson's lyrics and chord progression here, added pics to go with the lyrics, and some video snippets of dancers from the 2018 Pagosa Folk & Bluegrass Festival.

    LOL, that was an interesting picture from an “Abandoned Louisiana” group I belong to, and obviously it doesn’t even fit in with the tune. Just chalk it up to artistic license.
