Default Blues, Stomps, & Rags #14

I don't know much about the contemporary American duo who I found on a CD-sales site, guitarist Rick Franklin and mandolin player Tom Mindte, other than that they're fine blues players and Mindte plays well in different styles, generally mellow. Here they are with a number presumably their own, and with Ledbelly's classic Goodnight, Irene."

Tom Mindte owns Pautuxent records and he finds lots of talent that would otherwise slide under the radar. Some of it goes on to big things. He is a great mandolin player and has great taste in his musical choices. Checkout his webiste http://pxrec.com/
