    First, you get a cheap Harmony mandolin; then you get someone to build an extended neck for it.

    You may well ask where 18th-century Caribbean pirates found the celluloid for its pickguard. Oh, and the concertina wasn't invented until the 1820's. But what are a few little anachronisms among friends?

    Actually, that's a ARRRmony mandolin, and they're playing their favorite Beatles song: "Blackbeard Singing in the Middle of the Night"

    They look like happy pirates. Shouldn't they be out pillaging and burning instead of having a jam session?

    Well, if we're being like that; Are they the Pillage People? The costumes are more forgivable if that's the case.
