Thread: Mandolin bridge

  1. #1

    Default Mandolin bridge

I came accros this fine mandolin.
It is build by giuseppe serafino a student from giuseppe venaccia, arround 1890

The bridge used is , strange enough, patented in germany. I have seen this type of bridge on hawaiien guitars but did not know they were made for mandolins aswel?

Can somebody tell me more about this?
I have pictures but do not know how to attach them.

From this page, go to the bottom of page, click on "post quick reply", add your text, click on insert image icon(third from right) above. Browse your computer to the pictures location, and upload the file(s). Alternatively, you link to a picture already on the internet by inserting its location.

The other option is "go advanced", scroll down and click on "manage attachments", and upload your files.

    Hope that helps,
    benny
