I mounted the mandolin in the adjustable mould I use for building mandolins. I used wedges (you can see them on the right) to squeeze the crack closed, the clamp (gentle pressure only!) is to keep the edges aligned. Also in the pic are the spruce cleats which I later glued inside under the crack, to stop it going again.
