    Default I Can't Decide

I am trying to choose between a used Kentucky KM-380S with a case (type unknown) in good condition and a brand new Rover RM-50 for essentially the same price. Can anybody pitch in with any comments on this? Any guidance on these two choices is appreciated.

Have you been considering a Mandolin purchase for over two years? I found this thread.

Just curious: what have you been playing all this time?

I've been waiting for a Rover RM-50 to pop up online for a long time. They're as rare as hen's teeth. Right now I play a RM-35s. I just stumbled on a used Kentucky for the same price while rummaging around for good deals on used instruments, which I do regularly (obsessively). I was just ruminating over it. No matter, the Kentucky is gone now anyway.
