Default Chris Baird's shop burnt down in wildfire in Utah

I have some very bad news to report. There was a wildfire at Pack Creek where Chris Baird lives in Utah. His shop burnt down. Here is the story about the wildfire. One of my mandolin kits most likely got burnt in the fire at the shop.

Chris and his family are in survival mode at the moment. He is not sure what the next step is.

Due to some health issues, Chris was discontinuing his kits already. Sad but true. Now his shop is gone so he won't be building for a while. Sad, because I've really enjoyed his kit.

I have one of his last kits. Another was on its way to Spain. I should have had it sent to Australia. Alas hindsight is a many splendid thing.
