    You might want to look at Vern Brekke's design. It has been around for several years.

    Reinventing the wheel... Not the same because that Brekke doesn't keep the wedges in full contact all the time (being straight, it is not possible), but that doesn't matter a lot, even less given the simpler design. Forget about it!
