Well, I'm trying to win one LOL!!! I only have experience with a Weber oval hole, it is one of my "forever" mandolins (it will not get sold till I die.) I'm sure others will weigh in soon.
I can tell you that if your name gets pulled out of the hat, you will be feeling tidal waves of envy coming from all directions.

I can tell you that I have a Weber Yellowstone distressed and it's a really great sounding and playing mandolin. I have a couple other really high end Fs, but I still love to play the Yellowstone...
2003 John Sullivan F5 "Roy"
2015 Heiden F Artist
2019 Ruhland F5 #35
I have had my Yellowstone since 2010 and before that I had a Vintage A and a Gallatin. All are great instruments, but the Yellowstone is a life time keeper. I have on order one of his new two points.
Nice! I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it!
Very nice mandolin!
One of my Weber Mandolins is a 2009 Custom Yellowstone F with a cedar top. It was manufactured in Logan, Montana when Bruce Weber’s company name was Sound To Earth.
I personally feel that the Bruce Weber signed Yellowstone mandolins are very nice instruments with a rich Weber voice. I really don’t have any experience with the Yellowstone models built in Bend, OR by TOH. However, I do have a 2014 Weber Bitterroot F that was built in Bend, and it is an excellent instrument.
Here are the specs and MSRP for a standard Yellowstone in 2008. You can determine the year of manufacture of your Yellowstone by looking at the serial number on the inside label; the first two numbers should indicate the year, the last two numbers will be the month.
