I have to brag a little. Thanks to some advice from you folks here on the forum, I ordered a M11 Big Muddy Mandolin. It came in today, and it looks and sounds beautiful. Mike was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The only changes I requested to the stock M11 were an ebony radius fretboard, and a custom tailpiece. Needless to say...a vast difference from my Rogue starter mandolin, which will now be my campfire mando.

My daughters named her Mandy Lynn. The first song I played was Wayfaring Stranger. I must've played 40 songs before I finally put her down to hug and thank my wife and kids for the present. Thank y'all for the great advice, and the highest recommendation for Mike and his Big Muddy Mandolin Co.

That looks very cool with the James tailpiece. Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats on the m11. I have a 20 year old m4 myself and it sounds like a dream. Enjoy your big muddy!
