1Ns are selling for 500-700 these days (or they’re at least being listed in that range), so that doesn’t sound like a bad price. I paid 500 + shipping for my 1N probably 10-11 years ago, and have never regretted it. It’s simple looking, but loud as hell with beastly oval hole tone. Agree with your assertion that it would take something much more expensive to exceed their tone...

Sounds like it’s gotcha hooked good...I’d say go for it!

"north of space" could refer to either Cape Canaveral or Houston, or it could just be entirely off the wall.

(I gave my pancake to my new son-in-law. I'm sorta looking for its replacement.)

I just called my guy I got it for $650.00 out the door. I pick it up friday.

Its a magical music shop in okc called honest rons guitars he is also a weber dealer its a place so small and stacked floor to ceiling with gear that if there is more than two people inside i just wait in my truck for them to clear out.

One of joe bonamassa's favorite stops on his guitar hunts. He's been around for 40 years.

Its like a weird genie in the bottle type place where you go in and whatever your looking for is there. I went in last year and said ron do you have a es-125t 3/4 size archtop. And walks to the back comes out with a crusty old original fiberboard case. With a 58 model inside. Teles pauls of all vintage.

Also lone wolf in okc is great as well. And davids music center. We have some good weird shops here
