Default Grass Valley Fathers Day Festival

Anyone heading Grass Valley next week? I値l be in the luthiers building showing my instruments and doing setup/repair work. Catch me early, as the repair queue fills up quickly! I値l have several F5, A models and a couple octaves with me.

Also, Gary Vessel and Steve Sorensen will be there with instruments to try. Come by and give us all a hello!

I used to live in the Bay Area and mountain biked a fair amount around Grass Valley and Nevada City, great places. I have heard good things about the camp and would love to attend sometime. Can't make it this year, maybe next year.

Hmm...that's where I grew up, and my folks are still there. Maybe I'll need to go to the festival with my dad. He and I are equally terrible new mandolinists, so we can go ogle instruments with which we don't deserve to share a zip code.

Mmm, unfortunately my wife couldn't get off work for this year's Grass Valley festival. I wish we could be there. Maybe next year.

Austin, your re-fret, V-to-C neck re-profile, speed-neck and setup work on my 2002 F-9 from last year's Grass Valley festival continues to amaze and please me. Thanks again!

Great festival. Not planning to go at the moment, but would almost make the trip just to see Austin's latest work and the Luthiers' Pavilion.
