    Default "signatone" Czech Mando

Anyone know anything about these? Seems like an awfully low price for an instrument in good condition. It's an hour's drive away, but I'm going there anyway Wed.

I think it is 'Lignatone.' There is one for sale in my area right now too:

Some discussion of these on the cafe over the years: https://www.google.ca/search?q=ligna...w=1600&bih=769
From a quick read I'd say that is probably about what the mandolin is worth (in good condition).

If the neck is OK it's probably worth 80 bucks.

My first mando was a Czech bowlback bought in 1965. The cheap brass frets wore out in a year; it wasn't worth the money to get it refretted. I think it cost me $29 back then.
