Default Mounting ring for Seymour Duncan "Dimebag Darrell" humbucker

A tale of two photos here. I own both of these instruments, which have Seymour Duncan "Dimebag Darrell" humbuckers installed. (It turns out to be a great pickup for e-mandos, IMHO.) Obviously, on one of them the mounting ring is in perfect condition, and the other one could use some help.

So my question is, will the pickup work with THIS Seymour Duncan mounting ring? Can anyone advise? https://www.ebay.com/itm/263631261052

Seymour Duncan have all the specs on their website,

    Pickup: https://www.seymourduncan.com/wp-con...Dimebucker.pdf

    Ring: https://www.seymourduncan.com/wp-con...le_Drawing.pdf

Note that you presumably want the TS-1 ring if the top of your mando is flat. But otherwise they're matched in size so far as I can see.

You would also need to re-solder your pickup to the controls in the ring rather than direct to the Pot.

Otherwise I like the brass mounting rings, like these: https://www.axesrus.co.uk/Completely...r-p/pr8945.htm

They look really nice, and should last indefinitely. Be careful though - there are cheap knock-offs around that are made from steal - even though they're advertised as brass - you'll soon discover if they're magnetic or not when you try and fit the pickup!
