    Default New to the forum

    Greetings.

    I'm an acoustic guitar player, now the owner of a Depression-era Harmony mandolin, in decent shape. Three of our four children are either viola and/or violin players, so they already sort of know their ways around the instrument. All of us will be diving into learning this wonderful instrument.

    First post. I know I'll learn a lot here, so I thank one and all, in advance.

    No requests for upgrades yet! They violas and violins are worth m ore individually, than our second car! Any upgrades for them, will come there. Once I get comfortable w/the mandolin... I'll be the one looking to upgrade!

    Hi! Welcome. I'm new too. I got interested because of a mandolin we just found while cleaning my grandpa's home. Trying to play it but with some difficulty
