There was a thread requesting a specific area to discuss music basics, theory, chord structure and the like. Seemed to be a reasonable request so I moved all of the Photoshop This threads into the Board Admin area at the bottom and will rename that at some point.

Hoping the content to go here is obvious. No need for it to be an advanced section for people with degrees in music theory nor strictly a beginner section. Can suit everyone depending upon the topic.

And now that this section exists, let's see what ends up here.

If it's not real obvious, this new section is entitled " Theory / Technique / Tips & Tricks" unless it gets renamed at some point. This is a general category like General Discussions, etc.

    Thanks, Scott.

Thanks a lot. I think it will encourage more discussion ... of music.

Thank you Scott! This is great! I was beginning to think that Cafe members are completely taught and don't need to discuss mandolin technique anymore.

Thank you Scott. I think this will be a very popular topic as most of us have come here loking for help and inspiration to become better players. This whole forum is a great gift to the mandolin community, and I really appreciate it.
