Beautiful instrument. Let's hear it.
What's the back wood?

Thanks Bill.
Its ziricote. Really good looking and great sounding tonewood, but also super toxic for my skin. So never more....
Puzzled about the heavier strings (at the bridge end) on the lower two courses? Any particular reason?
Amazing looking instrument. The back looks like a Van Gogh painting!

Nylonstrings together with steelstring sound great in my opinion, try it. I use Hannabach H9 and a 032w elexir on the lowest course, C tuning.
