Default Any Mandolin recomendations in Toronto

I'm traveling to Toronto in July.
Any recomendations on music shops to buy mandolins or where I could hear any mandolins being played.
    Thanks for any info.

I have not been there, but have parused their site a number of times. They look to have a few really nice instruments.

Grit Laskin is a Toronto luthier of note, of the makes-to-order (expensive) variety, who you might have to make an appointment to visit. His website doesn't mention mandolins, but I've seen and heard a couple of excellent ones that he made. Both were 10-strings, one, at least, with GDAEB tuning.
Contact info is on his website.

"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."

Folkway in Waterloo. Not too far. I've bought from them even in the States.
