Default Dylan covering Harrison - and a bit of mandolin content

I just came across this performance of Bob Dylan covering Something.

Looks like Larry Campbell on mandolin behind him, adding a tasteful tremolo here and there and at the ending.

Hey that's pretty good, and I'm not even a Dylan follower but I like what he does with this song. The mandolin fits in good too. Thanks for posting it.

Found it by happenstance. I'm a Dylan follower since the sixties, don't know if I'd call this "fantastic" as per the vid title, but I was glad to see a mandolin in the shot, and I'm pretty certain that's Larry Campbell playing it. I'm a fan of Larry.

    LOL, Roger that

FYI for anyone who doesn't know, Larry Cambell is a really cool multi-instrumentalist. He was a driving force in Levon's life to the end. Toured with Levon, managed the midnight ramble for Levon. Toured with Dylan in past years and with other acts, and has been a great sessions artist for many records.

His fingerpicking guitar course through Homespun, interpreting the Gospel songs and styles of Reverend Gary Davis, is one I'd highly recommend for any finger style guitarist. All around great guy and consummate musician.
